Original World War II jackets - Custom-made

The N1 jacket was used for many years until the early 1960s, when it was replaced by the A2 deck jacket (not to be confused with the A2 flight jacket). This evolution is a testament to the effectiveness of its original design and functionality. Post-war versions differed primarily in their dark green color, and it was this shade that was officially designated "N1" on the collar specification label. Wartime versions only carried the size, contract number, and Navy department markings. Despite its long service life, the N1 jacket has remained virtually unchanged and has retained all of its original features.
